Compact electric propagator featuring 8 watt heated base. Ideal for seeds and cuttings. Features injection moulded growing tray and crystal clear high dome vented cover to create optimal growing conditions. The One Top electric propagator is an ideal compact unit for growing vegetables, flowers or herbs. Whether raising seeds or rooting cuttings, this simple non thermostatic control unit provides the perfect low cost means to growing success. Economical to run, the 8 watt heated base consumes just one sixth of the power of a standard household light bulb. The electric base provides warmth which aids fast germination and supports young plant development. The crystal clear high top cover with adjustable vent enables the control of ideal humidity conditions.

All components are injection moulded in rigid plastic to give many years of repeat use. The growing tray features 'two tier' drainage and capillary holes which aid healthy root development while the clear cover gives a full 12cm of height clearance.

Grow Tubes are ideal for growing sweet peas, beans, leeks and tap-rooted plants from seed.

Made from natural, biodegradable materials they can be used for cuttings and seedlings which require planting out.

Grow Tubes:

Protect roots from damage
Roots grow freely through the tube
Require string to be tied around the top to ensure they remain upright in a tray
Each pack contains 20, 6cm tubes. If white mould appears on the Grow Tube separate the tubes by 25mm to allow the air to circulate between to dry out the tubes.

Plants are ready for planting out when roots begin to grow through the sides. Once this happens, simply transfer straight into the ground and water thoroughly. The rim of the tube will also act as a deterrent for pests.

One seed should be used per Grow Pot or Grow Tube.

Grow Pots for Ring Culture have been specifically designed for plants where two sets of roots – a tap root and feeding root – are formed.

A perfect, bespoke solution for tomatoes, cucumbers, aubergines, sweet chillis, melons, chrysanthemums and other heavy feeding plants.

Grow Pots for Ring Culture:

Help to retain moisture below the pot, reducing watering frequency
Improves nutrient availability and reduces leaching
Plants can be grown in the same place the following year without soil disinfection
As the plant has two roots, one set that grows within the pot to take up plant food and the other set which penetrates below the pot to access water, Grow Pot for Ring Culture helps reduce plant check from transplanted young plants in the compost pot than the cooler soil or aggregate bed.

Easy-to-use, plant each seedling into the pot and water thoroughly. Continue feeding throughout the growing season around two-three times a week.

At the end of the season simply cut off the tops of the plants and ease out the roots from the bed beneath the pots. The pots and contents can then be composted.
