Comb in sections, through the coat all the way to the lower layers next to the skin (which is where matting begins). Comb all areas of your dog's body using our guide to see which are most prone to matting.The Doodle Slicker is perfect for working through thick coats to remove dead hair; fluff curly / cottony coats and shape heads, top lines and legs. The special pin hooks are able to catch and remove dead hair from the coat and helps brush out minor knots and tangles.
