Description
Vitax Green Up Lawn Sand helps control spring and summer moss while acting as a high-performance turf tonic to give lawns a rich, vibrant green colour.
Formulated as a home garden lawn treatment, it features a compound mineral analysis (4-0-0 + 3Fe) that drives rapid turf development while safely eradicating common lawn moss.
Key Benefits:
- Rapid Green-Up: Contains 4.0% Nitrogen to boost lush, leafy grass growth and revive tired turf throughout the growing season.
- Eradicates Moss: Formulated with 3.0% water-soluble Iron (as ferrous sulphate) which causes moss to blacken and die off rapidly for easy removal.
- Specialist Soil Action: Supplies vital iron trace elements to improve overall plant health and strengthen grass against seasonal stress.
Application & Safety Advice:
- When to Apply: Best applied from April to September when the soil is moist. Do not apply during drought conditions, freezing weather, or when heavy rain is imminent.
- Mowing Window: For optimum results, ensure grass is cut 3 days before treatment and not mown again until at least 4 days after application.
- Moss Removal: Dead moss can be easily scarified or raked out approximately 7 to 10 days after application. Re-treatment may be required for heavy moss infestations.
- Staining Warning: Always brush product off immediately if split on concrete paths, patios, or paving to prevent permanent rust discolouration.
- Storage: Store out of reach of children and pets in its original, tightly closed container.
