Local Delivery - Super-fast, personal delivery - same day or next day from our Zoar's fleet of vans:

Local customers are free to use the nationwide delivery options as well, but note the limitations on heavy and / or bulky items.
National Delivery - We use Royal Mail for smaller items and DPD for orders over £30:
- Orders up to £30 - £3.95
- Orders £30 - £75 - £5.95
- Orders £75+ - FREE (Excluding Bulky Items)
Heavy / Bulky Items
For those items that are too large or heavy for a courier to transport, we charge £7 additional cost to each item added. These items are marked Bulky / Heavy on the website. Bulky items are ALWAYS subject to a £7 per item charge for national delivery, including orders over £75.
Local Delivery Bulky Items Note: the £7 charge per item is only applicable on national delivery that uses Royal Mail or couriers. There is no surcharge on local delivery whatever the total order amount.
Collection
Order before 4pm (2pm on Sundays) for same day collection at our Neath store. Allow an hour before collecting and bring proof of purchase (confirmation email). Available 7 days a week (minus seasonal and bank holidays).
Description
Gardener's Delight, like its name would suggest is one of the most popular varieties producing trusses with large crops of small fruits but with an outstanding tangy flavour. Very popular with the home gardener of today because of its reliable and prolific nature.
When to Sow Gardeners Delight Tomato Seeds
January to April.
Where to Sow
Sow tomato seeds in pots or trays of a good seed sowing compost at 0.5cm deep. Cover lightly with compost or vermicultire and keep underglass. Place containers in a propagator at a temperature of 18-21°C.
What to do Next
When the seedlings are latge enough to handle, prick out into 9cm (3 1/2in) pots. Transplant to the greenhouse border soil, or into individual large pots, or in a growbag when 20cm (8in) high with 3 plants in each. Tomato plants can also planted outdoors once all risk of frost has passed. Plants require sideshooting and support for the best yields. Water and feed plants regularly with a high potash feed once the first truss has set.
Maturity
July to October.
Handy Tip
If growing outside, pinch out the growing tip after 4-5 trusses of fruit have set.
