Description

The perfect variety for growing in containers under glass or outside on the patio. These compact and bushy plants are highly productive, capable of producing over ten sweet and juicy, dark green / ripening to red peppers per plant.

When to Sow Paragon Sweet Pepper Seeds

February to April. Plant out May to June.

Harvest

Late July to October.

Where to Sow

Sow seed on the surface of a free draining seed sowing compost in pots or trays and cover with a fine sprinkling of compost or vermiculite and place at a temperature 18-21°C until seeds germinate.

What to do Next

Prick out seedings when large enough to handle into 7cm (3in) pots and grow on underglass. Once the pepper plants reach 10cm (4in) high, transplant into growbags or 25cm (10in) pots and grow on underglass. Feed once a week with tomato fertiliser once first fruits have set.

Nutritional Values

A good source of Vitamin C and beta carotene

Handy Tip

Move containers outside to a patio once all risk of frost has passed. In autumn move back undercover to ripen any remaining fruits.
