What is it?
FRONTLINE® SPOT ON is our original spot-on formula; it contains fipronil. It kills fleas in 24 hours, kills ticks in 48 hours and kills biting lice.
It’s available for cats and for dogs in 1-dose, 3-dose and 6-dose packs.
FRONTLINE® SPOT ON for dogs is available in 3 different pack sizes:
• For dogs weighing 2-10 kg
• For dogs weighing 10-20 kg
• For dogs weighing 20-40 kg
For dogs above 40 kg bodyweight, use the appropriate combination of two pipette sizes that most closely matches the bodyweight.
How is it administered?
Part the pet’s fur at the base of the neck in front of the shoulder blades until the skin is visible. Place the tip of the pipette on the skin and squeeze to empty the contents completely onto the skin.
Do not bathe the pet or let them swim for 2 days after application and no more than once a week thereafter.
For optimal protection, apply FRONTLINE® SPOT ON every 4 weeks to protect the pet against fleas and ticks. Please remember it’s always best to treat the pet according to their lifestyle. For example, cats who go outdoors are at higher risk of picking up fleas and ticks than indoor only cats. And dogs who go to areas where wildlife (such as foxes and hedgehogs) are found will be at higher risk than those who don’t.
