For healthier, fitter, happier birds with gleaming feathers, add this easy-to-use multi-vitamin and multi-mineral mix to drinking water. Just pop it in and give it a stir. Easier still mix sufficient for a couple of days into water in a bottle, put the lid on and give it a good shake. Keep what you don't use today in the fridge for tomorrow. Then mix more up fresh.
Birds need to have a full spectrum of vitamins and minerals to remain fit and healthy, just as we do. But we eat a varied diet, while most birds kept by us have a diet comprising substantially of dry seed, which is deficient in the majority of vitamins and minerals. In the wild our birds would go for green, sappy, nutritious seeds and would have a supply of different seeds and fruits available to them as the season progressed.
