Horse Riding Air Vests & Air Jackets

Horse Riding Air Vests & Air Jackets

Safety is an important consideration for every rider, whether you're enjoying a leisurely hack, training at home or competing. At Zoar's Ark, our range of equestrian air vests and air jackets offers additional protection through inflatable safety technology.

Designed to be worn while riding, air vests provide an extra layer of protection while allowing freedom of movement in the saddle.

How Do Horse Riding Air Vests Work?

Horse riding air vests use an inflatable system designed to activate during certain types of falls. Many models use a tether connected to the saddle, which triggers inflation when the rider becomes separated from the horse.

The inflated sections are designed to provide additional protection around areas such as the torso, chest and back, depending on the specific product.

Our equestrian safety range includes products from Point Two, a recognised name in inflatable rider protection. Explore air vest options designed for riders seeking additional protection without unnecessarily restricting movement.

Air Vest Accessories & Replacement Canisters

Maintaining your air vest correctly is essential. Depending on the model, replacement gas canisters and other accessories may be required following deployment.

Always use components approved for your particular air vest and follow the manufacturer's fitting, maintenance and replacement instructions.

Choosing the Right Air Vest

Correct sizing, compatibility with other protective equipment and suitability for your riding discipline are important considerations.

Air vests do not automatically replace traditional body protectors, and competition requirements can vary. Check the manufacturer's recommendations and the relevant rules for your discipline before purchasing.
